Clients arrive wearing stretchy clothing and receive between 10-30 minutes of clothed one-on-one passive movement and stretching at the beginning of their treatment. This is deeply relaxing, and gives the massage therapist a chance to assess tension and perceive areas of focus.

The remainder of the appointment addresses areas identified as target muscles to focus more soft tissue and deep tissue manipulation, and continued movement and muscle energy techniques.

Other treatments that may be included are:

• Hot towel therapy (hands, feet, neck)

• Contrast therapy for acute injury (ice and heat)

• Aromatherapy for enhanced massage experience/smellscape

• Therapeutic Cupping

• Hot Stone Massage
